Scalp Tattooing is a process similar to Permanent Cosmetics, which requires a small needle to place pigments into the upper layer of the scalp. A certain amount of discomfort is inevitable. The general consensus is that the pain varies from a 3-4 out of 10. There are parts of the scalp that are more sensitive and are prone to a higher pain level. You will experience some redness and swelling on the scalp up to a few days after the treatment. The pigment will also appear a bit darker initially. It will take a few days to lighten, sometime up to 1 week or rare cases, 2 weeks. Bruising may also occur to some clients. The treatment area may look darker and it will usually go away after a few days.
If you usually wear rug or hair piece, please DO NOT wear them for 2 weeks before the treatment. This will allow the skin to breathe and then the treatment can be taken properly.
If you recently have had laser hair removal or laser tattoo removal, please wait at least two to four weeks to have hair tattooing procedure.
